Hangzhou Zhiwei Technology Co., Ltd. was established on September 10, 2025. The company is headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, with R&D operations in Hangzhou, Zhejiang and Changchun, Jilin. It focuses on Full Active Suspension System R&D and the industrialization of key components. The founding team carries forward more than 30 years of product development experience and technical expertise in intelligent suspension from the National Key Laboratory of Automotive Chassis Integration and Bionics at Jilin University. With an industry-leading, full-stack self-developed intelligent active suspension system solution, Zhiwei Technology is committed to advancing breakthroughs and innovation in China's core intelligent suspension technologies and becoming a solution provider for intelligent AI all-terrain chassis using automotive robots as the carrier. At the time of the report, the company had five employees, including two PhD holders and three master's degree holders.

The National Key Laboratory of Automotive Chassis Integration and Bionics, formerly the State Key Laboratory of Automotive Simulation and Control, is among China's first national key laboratories in automotive engineering technology dedicated to applied basic research. Addressing major strategic needs in the automotive sector under China's manufacturing powerhouse and transportation powerhouse strategies, the laboratory focuses on key constrained technical challenges such as insufficient domestic chassis quality, underperforming electronically controlled assemblies, and high dependence on foreign automotive industrial software and test equipment. It conducts applied basic research on high-quality chassis integration and bionic development technologies, develops a new generation of intelligent new-energy chassis for all working conditions, all terrains, and the full lifecycle, and builds an independent chassis innovation R&D system. The laboratory has largely enabled forward-development and high-end design of chassis platforms, while its independently developed simulation software covers more than 80% of the functions of leading international software of the same type. Through organized academic innovation research, it provides independently controllable chassis and assembly design technologies for Chinese vehicle and component manufacturers.
