Algorithm Development and Simulation

Electromagnetic Full Active Suspension Simulation Model Development

Zhiwei Technology provides customers with an electromagnetic active suspension model comprising a spring model, a magnetorheological fluid damper model, and a linear motor model. It supports chassis performance development, Full Active Suspension control strategy development, and ECU-HIL testing of domain controllers on NI or dSPACE platforms.

Hydraulic Active Suspension Simulation Model Development

Zhiwei Technology provides customers with a hydraulic active suspension model comprising a damper model, a hydraulic pump model, and an air suspension model. A lumped-parameter method is used to build a simulation model based on the physical structure. Circular thin-plate deflection theory is used to analytically determine deformation of the damping valve stack and accurately obtain the relief valve's flow-pressure characteristics. A lumped-parameter simulation model of the internal gear pump is established to accurately describe the pump's flow-pressure characteristics. The model supports chassis performance development, Full Active Suspension control strategy development, and ECU-HIL testing of domain controllers on NI or dSPACE platforms.

Full Active Suspension Control Software Development and ECU-HIL Testing

Building on research from the 72nd Batch General Program of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, titled "Research on Multi-Factor Coupled Dynamic Characterization and Active Preview Control Methods for an Electric Active Stabilizer Bar," Zhiwei Technology provides control software development and ECU-HIL testing services for full-active and semi-active suspension. For heave-vibration control, a frequency-selection function based on the fixed-point theory of suspension vibration dynamically allocates active and semi-active suspension control logic for first- and second-order offset frequencies. A phase-compensated, full-frequency-domain active suspension control theory is then used to construct the optimal target force. A high-accuracy hydraulic active-force characterization model is developed by combining a lumped-parameter Full Active Suspension System model with a target active-force inverse-model representation, enabling precise control of the optimal target force. For roll control, Zhiwei Technology has developed an approach combining steady-state cornering roll-angle control, front-to-rear moment distribution control for dynamic roll, and roll skyhook control under transient road excitation. This enables anti-roll control across all driving conditions with precisely differentiated target characteristics.

Quarter-Car Full Active Suspension Bench Testing and Test Equipment Development

To address the industry challenge of heave-vibration ride-comfort control for Full Active Suspension, Zhiwei Technology provides not only the full-stack self-developed control software development services described above, but also control strategy development and test evaluation for quarter-car suspension systems. The tests support various road inputs, including speed bumps, triangular waves, and sine waves at different frequencies. They accurately reproduce test conditions and make the control process traceable, addressing a key industry challenge.
