At the Fifth China · Shaoxing “Ten Thousand Mu, One Trillion Yuan” New Industry Platform High-Caliber Talent Entrepreneurship Artificial Intelligence Grand Final, held in Shaoxing Binhai New Area on December 24, Zhiwei Technology stood out from numerous competing teams with its leading Full Active Suspension System technology and innovative R&D achievements, winning third prize in the grand final. The award represents significant recognition of the Zhiwei Technology entrepreneurial team.

The judging panel for the Fifth China · Shaoxing “Ten Thousand Mu, One Trillion Yuan” New Industry Platform High-Caliber Talent Entrepreneurship Artificial Intelligence Grand Final consisted of globally recognized investors, founders of leading technology companies, and authoritative experts and scholars. Its evaluation criteria covered technological innovation, business model, market prospects, team capability, and other dimensions.
After nearly five months of rigorous selection and on-site presentations, Zhiwei Technology’s Full Active Suspension System received high recognition from the judging panel for its technological foresight and practical application value.

Hangzhou Zhiwei Technology Co., Ltd. was established on September 10, 2025, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Shaoxing Zhiwei Yiyuan Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shaoxing Zhiwei”) was established on December 4, 2025, in Zhuji, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. Looking ahead, Shaoxing Zhiwei will serve as the company’s headquarters and production base, focusing on Full Active Suspension System R&D and the industrialization of key components. Hangzhou Zhiwei will serve as the R&D Center, while the Changchun R&D Center will focus on Full Active Suspension System control software and forward-looking product pre-research. Zhiwei Technology will also take root in Zhuji, Shaoxing, develop steadily and step by step, and pursue leadership in the industry.

The entrepreneurial team builds on more than 30 years of product-development experience and technical accumulation in intelligent suspension at the National Key Laboratory of Automotive Chassis Integration and Bionics at Jilin University. It has an industry-leading, full-stack self-developed intelligent active-suspension system solution. Its founder, Wang Yang, holds a PhD in Vehicle Engineering from Jilin University, completed postdoctoral research at the National Engineering Research Center for Electric Vehicles at Beijing Institute of Technology, is a professional committee member of the Suspension Technology Branch of the China Society of Automotive Engineers, and serves as a reviewer for the leading domestic automotive journal Automotive Engineering. He is a well-known domestic expert in active suspension.
The National Key Laboratory of Automotive Chassis Integration and Bionics at Jilin University, formerly the State Key Laboratory of Automotive Simulation and Control, was among the first state key laboratories established in China’s automotive-engineering science and technology field to conduct applied basic research. Addressing the major strategic needs placed on the automotive sector by China’s manufacturing-strength and transportation-strength strategies, the laboratory focuses on major technological challenges, including insufficient quality of domestically developed chassis, underperforming electronically controlled assemblies, and heavy external dependence on automotive industrial software and test equipment. It conducts applied basic research on high-quality chassis-integration and bionic-development technologies; develops a new generation of intelligent new-energy chassis for all operating conditions, all terrains, and the full life cycle; and builds an independently innovative chassis R&D system. Its work aims to substantially realize forward and high-end chassis-platform design, achieve independently developed simulation-software functional coverage of more than 80% of comparable mainstream international software, and provide Chinese vehicle and component enterprises with independently controllable chassis and assembly design technologies through organized academic innovation research.
